In July, we are taking a deep dive into our last show for Season 13, After The End, which opens on August 10 at Anythink Huron St. in Thornton.
For this site-specific show at Anythink Huron, several of the meeting spaces are transformed into a fictional literary world. In this exclusive experience, small groups of up to eight people will be guided through a “portal” into a story, traveling alongside the lead character of the show. Reservations for tickets can be made here. The shows are one hour long and will have staggered start times on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from August 10- September 14.
For the first time in The Catamounts’ 13-year history, tickets for After The End are complimentary for all. This is made possible by the generous support of Adams County taxpayers, the Anythink Foundation, the SCFD, our sponsors, and our donors. We’re excited to mark this special accomplishment in our mission to expand to more diverse audiences, creating a more equitable landscape for the arts in Colorado. Your free tickets express our deep appreciation for your support over the years. This is a wonderful time to gather a group and attend this family-friendly performance. Reserve your tickets here.
Join Lena on a quest to find STRANDED IN SILVER HILL, the long-lost novel written by her grandmother. She has received a mysterious card from the catalog documenting books located in the Library of the Lost, and she needs your help to locate it. But what will happen to you and Lena when you find yourself suddenly inside the book itself?
AFTER THE END asks: what happens to fictional characters once the story ends? When their last reader no longer remembers them, where do they go? If their author is gone, are they?
Join Lena on a journey through the bardo-esque landscape of wayward storybook characters who are fighting for survival in a world intent on forgetting them.
