FEED: Wood features the talents of the following artists:
Amanda Berg Wilson (Artistic Director) has directed multiple productions and FEED events for The Catamounts, including God’s Ear (2011 Camera Eye Award, Best Director); Failure: A Love Story (2013 True West Nomination, Best Director), and Land of Milk and Honey (2021 True West Award). Elsewhere in Colorado, she has directed for Creede Repertory Theatre, DCPA’s Off-Center, and will direct for Opera Steamboat this August.
Sondra Blanchard (Theatrical Director and Writer) has been performing, teaching, and making new theatre for 35 years. Local creative collaborations and teaching include the following: Naropa University, University of Northern CO, Boulder Fringe Festival, Chautauqua, Boulder Public Library, Theatre Made in Boulder Festival, University of Colorado, Arvada Center, Quake Theatre, Band of Toughs, Catamounts, and Aurora Community College. She is a graduate of UC Santa Cruz, the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre, and holds an MFA in Theatre: Contemporary Performance from Naropa University. Sondra was a Fulbright Fellow – Greece where she taught collaborative playwriting at Aristotle University. Sondra is currently the proprietor of HB Woodsongs.
Joan Bruemmer-Holden (Event Director) is a Catamounts company member. She most recently appeared in Impossible Things as Aunt Bertie/Mother Goose. She was in the cast of Sweet and Lucky at DCPA Off-Center, has been nominated for two Henry Awards, and is the recipient of a Denver Post Ovation award.
Nika Garcia (Musician, Fourth Course) is a Boulder-based singer, musician, actor, and dancer. She has performed professionally since childhood in Denver theater and television, and is trilingual in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. She toured Europe with her jazz band, released two records, and founded Five Star Music Productions in Miami Beach. Nika recently music directed for The Catamounts’ FEED: Apres, FEED: Plant, and FEED: Dry, and played La Catrina in The Last Night of Red Barker. A BFA graduate from the New School in NYC, she teaches music and yoga, performs regularly at Dagabi in Boulder
Min Kyung (Cecillia) Kim (Your Guide) is a local actor who is thrilled to be working with The Catamounts again. She appeared as Lena in After The End, Ugly Duckling in Impossible Things with The Catamounts; and Yuri in Zotto with Theatre Artibus and Japanese Arts Network, various characters in Cannibal the Musical at Town Hall Arts Center, Seung Min Lee in Say My Name with Insight Collab, and Ona in Great Bends/Local Lab 12 at the Local Theatre Company.
Andy Masterpiece (Musician, First Course) is a Boulder-based trans man who came out in early 2022. Born in Wisconsin, he’s lived in 6 states, but has called Colorado home since 2009. He is an evocative story-weaver who loves pouring his heart into his community, inspiring hope by sharing the adventures of his journey thus far. His focus is on rewriting his story to incorporate all parts of himself equally as he embodies his independent artist identity. Finding balance on his path consumes much of his focus. He finds joy in moving, being moved, and challenging his thoughts to align with his values.
Bonnie Sims (Musician, Third Course) is a full-time touring musician, appearing as Bonnie in Bonnie and Taylor Sims, Cowboy Daddy in Big Richard, and the girl who sings the RIAA certified platinum single “I See Red” in Everybody Loves An Outlaw. She has been a theater nerd since forever and has loved her time onstage in the Rocky Horror Show, Into The Woods, Seussical the Musical, Honky Tonk Laundry, Spoon River, The Last Apple Tree, and now FEED: Wood.
Christopher Smith (Musician, Second and Fourth Course) is a songwriter, producer and visual artist from Colorado. Obsessed with creating music since childhood, he has played in bands for decades, racking up countless gigs & tours, always content playing the co-writer/sideman/harmony role. In 2023 he decided to pursue a solo career and released his first album, CHRISTOPHER SMITH AND FRIENDS, that summer. His latest album, Unsent Letters Volume 1, was performed entirely by him and released in early 2025. His aim going forward is to return to live music and to be open to new artistic experiences, such as this event.
